Who have dreamt and realised their aspiration by establishing a school in the year 1919. It is a new era in the history of Chikodi. It is a private Govt-Aided school. This School is popularly known as R D High school, is being managed by C.T.E Society Chikodi. It is in urban area, school is running classes from 6th std 10 std. It is co-educational in nature. Kannada is the medium of instruction. R D High school has its own building. It is surrounded by trees and Just Adjecent to Chandrakori Hill with Swayambhu Ganesh Temple. The school is in the heart of the city. Academic session starts in the month of April.

R D High school has well-established Own building with very nice & Attractive look, It has sufficient class-rooms (nearly 28 class-rooms) for instructional purposes. Besides, science laboratory, library and computer rooms have become the powerful parts of knowledge. We are proud to say that our library consists nearly 12,800 books some of them are very rare, we hardly see and touch such books. Our school has a separate Headmaster Chamber, Office room and Staff-room, all are decorated
qualitatively, Magazines and Daily Newspapers are the parts of information for the students and the teachers. The school has power supply. Sufficient pure drinking water. We have maintained lavatory for boys and girls separately. Priority has been given to cleanliness. School has a big playground & students enjoy sports and games. R D High School has given importance to academic performance as well as extra-curricular activities. Our school is offering N C C, Scouts, and guides.
